A standard Loungefly mini backpack is roughly 9 inches wide and holds more than it looks like it should: a phone, a small wallet, sunglasses, a water bottle in the side pockets, and a light layer. It is a day bag, not a school bag. The main compartment has a zip, and there are two side pockets plus a small front pocket on most designs.
